Online Process:
First, new clients will always speak with a manager to determine exactly what is required. Once you are comfortable with us and us with you, a game plan will be established. This usually involves establishing expectations, time frames, and fees. Also, you will be assigned a bookkeeper as a point of contact. We feel it is important you feel comfortable working with the same person who will get to know and understand your business.
After your initial set up:
Step 1: email or upload your electronic bank and credit card statements to our website
Step 2: we do the bookkeeping (using Simply Accounting, QuickBooks, or Wave Accounting)
Step 3: we email you any questions about certain transactions
Step 4: we email you a proof of our work for approval
Step 5: we email a copy of the data file to your accountant
Ideally, everything is done electronically. Most banks will allow you to download your statements electronically. If not, or if we require any supporting documentation like lease contracts, receipts or invoices you can scan and email them to us.
Traditional Process:
Of course, if this process does not work for you our dedicated bookkeepers are willing to work with you to find a solutions that fits. We realize face to face interaction is not a thing of the past. We always welcome our clients to come by and drop off their paperwork. And we can even come to you!
